The Food Security Fund provides aid and resources to reduce hunger and strengthen local food systems, including: emergency food assistance (food banks, meal programs, rapid distribution); sustainable agriculture (grants for small/diverse farms, regenerative technical support, urban agriculture funding); community food systems (food hubs, farmers’ markets, institutional procurement, community gardens); nutrition and access (SNAP outreach, culturally appropriate meal planning, mobile market subsidies); and related efforts (cold chain, food rescue, workforce training, policy advocacy) to improve food security, equitable access to healthy food, and resilient local food economies.

The Housing Development Fund offers resources and financial aid to stabilize neighborhoods and expand access to safe, affordable housing, including: foreclosure prevention (counseling, lender mediation, emergency loan relief); homeownership support (down-payment aid, credit counseling, subsidized mortgages); tenants’ rights education and legal aid; public housing rehabilitation and preservation; and related programs (rental assistance, community land trusts, supportive housing, and mixed-income development grants) to reduce displacement, boost stability, and foster inclusive communities.
